Despite his injury he showed love to everyone he met at the shelter. Sadly, his leg was so badly damaged that they had to remove it. But Lupo didn’t mind having one less leg, he was just so happy to be getting lots of attention and belly rubs.
That’s what impressed John and Mary Messana. When Mary met him at the shelter she was won over with sweet and docile Lupo is and she said that was really something being a self-professed “cat person.” John was quickly won over too and after a few weeks of veterinary care, Lupo found the love and safety of a family he deserves.
