This cute puppy is so eager eating his dinner that he literally flips over his bowl! In the cute video, the Boston Terrier leans further and further into his food bowl until he surprises his family by doing an acrobatic “hand stand!”
This pup isn’t the only dog to flip over a meal.
But why are there so many puppies that make handstands while they eat? There’s a simple explanation – gravity. It’s because of their heavy heads and lighter body. The combination of a puppy’s unique anatomy and their excitement over eating (which tenses their back muscles) that results in the “seesaw” movement and they end up in a handstand or completely flipping over.
It’s just one more behavior that makes puppies even more lovable than they already are!
