An animal control officer shared her dismay on social media after finding a puppy starving to death on an arm chair dumped by the side of a road. Sharon Norton of Brookhaven Animal Control picked the puppy up after a woman spotted a truck dumping furniture and the dog on Gaston Trail in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
She got a message and pulled up to road to see the dog in the chair, refusing to budge.
“To the person that dumped this chair, your puppy was waiting for you to come back, slowly starving to death because it was afraid to leave the chair to find food. Shame on you for doing this to this puppy… but one day Karma will meet up with you.”

Norton gave the puppy some food and brought him to the vet. The puppy is now receiving medical care and will be placed up for adoption shortly.
