Dr. Karri with Vet Ranch rescued a pack of puppies after they had been dumped at a shelter. The pups were facing euthanasia due to overcrowding but Vet Ranch and Abandoned Pet Project stepped in and saved them. They thought the pups would just need to be treated for hookworms and given their vaccines then spayed and neutered…or so they thought at first.
The puppies seemed okay at first…but they definitely picked up parvo at shelter prior to their vaccine. What followed was a heroic effort by Dr. Karri and her team to save their lives again!
