Rango lived on a property in Phoenix, Arizona which was known by animal rescuers as a place of suffering for multiple dogs. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t rescue Rango. Then one day volunteers were alerted about a dog wandering the streets. It was Rango. He was underweight and smelled horrible.
Poverty Pets took him in, and he made a complete recovery. Even though he had a rough past, Rango just wants to hold everyone’s hand. Or, if he catches you sitting, he might just put his head on your lap. He’s still smiling and loving life despite his past.
He’s now been two years with his foster mom and is still looking for a home. Visit Rango’s Instagram page for details on how to adopt him.
