But “Mikki” was afraid and ran away and Animal Aid Unlimited gave chase. She hid under a boat which gave them a chance to catch her – which they did.
Mikki had a terrible open wound on her shoulder that was infected and needed immediate treatment.
She was taken back to their shelter, where her mange and wounds were cleaned and treated and she got used to a loving touch. Her transformation from a sick and desperate puppy to a happy, joyful girl is simply amazing to see!
