A homeless dog who everyone rejected needed extra help finding a family. As a stray, Tuggy rescued himself after jumping into a police cruiser. He ended up at the shelter but getting himself rescued there proved more difficult.
Tuggy had weird cherry eyes and was very smart and hyper. Melissa (an experienced foster) was asked to take him for the weekend and the moment she saw him she thought he was “ridiculous” but in a good way. Three years later and Tuggy still hasn’t left her home.
She says he is joyful all the time and is everybody’s best friend. He loves to go out and experience new things and he loves his furry siblings.
He’s now a therapy dog and spreads joy to kids and makes everyone he meets laugh. Most of all, Melissa is thrilled that Tuggy ended up a foster failure and is part of his family.
