Recently, a man in Britain was walking by a canal in Manchester England when he saw what he thought was a pile of rags. But when he looked closer he saw it was a severely matted dog.
He took the Shih Tzu to the RSPCA who thinks the Shih Tzu they named Morris was abandoned. After shaving three pounds of fur and trying to treat his cataracts they realized the small dog was deaf and blind.
But Morris story has a wonderful happy ending.
Morris was adopted by an 82-year old and now enjoys snuggles, cuddles, and the company of a dog named Ruby.
