When Dr. Kari took in the 2-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix, the small dog had a fracture that wouldn’t heal with a splint. The small dog would need surgery and a metal plate inserted into her leg for it to properly heal. Thankfully, thanks to Abandoned Pet Project and Vet Ranch, Daisy did get that surgery along with being spayed. And finally, after all of the surgeries, Daisy gets the final piece of the puzzle to heal completely – she gets to meet her new mama!
