How did Gertie get in there? That’s what we were wondering after seeing the dog’s rescue. The white terrier mix had been missing for five days before she was found trapped behind a concrete wall inside a garage in Cincinnati.
Gertie’s family was hoping Gertie was close in the neighborhood. Finally, after 5 long days a neighbor gave them a call. The homeowner had heard a bark behind the wall and contacted firefighters for help. The firefighter had to use a sledgehammer to break a hole in the wall.
