Clementine was on the euthanasia list when Chelsea saw her shelter photo. Not long after, the newly rescued dog was shaking in the car and heading to her new home. Clementine was so skeptical that she stopped and looked at the front doorway, not sure what to expect.
That was followed by weeks of sitting on her new bed and staring at the walls. A couple of months later, she didn’t make eye contact with her new family. She was so traumatized!
But more time passed and slowly but surely, Chelsea and her family’s love and patience was about to pay off.
