A dog who gotten impaled on a metal rod made an amazing recovery thanks to her rescuers.
Animal Aid Unlimited in India wrote:
Neighbors spotted a beautiful dog laying by a rod in a construction site. When they came closer they saw to their horror that the rod had pierced through her thigh and she had impaled her. She couldn’t get free no matter how she struggled. They called Animal Aid to the rescue, and we quickly arranged for workers to come with an electric metal saw.”
The poor dog had to have extra courage as the men sawed through the metal rod and freed her.
Thankfully, when she was examined they determined that the rod had entered and exited her body without breaking a single bone. Her wound was still serious and needed to be bandaged and cleaned regularly. But over four months of daily treatment Shylee has made an amazing recovery!
